Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Civil Supervisor to oversee day-to-day construction activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising labour, ensuring quality execution of work, maintaining site records, preparing reports, and coordinating with the project team to complete work safely and within the scheduled timeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Arrange and manage labour according to project requirements.
- Maintain daily labour attendance and manpower records.
- Prepare labour wage calculations and submit them for processing.
- Assign daily work to labour teams and monitor their productivity.
- Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports (DPR) on work completed, manpower deployed, material consumption, and site progress.
- Monitor excavation, foundation, PCC, RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, structural, and finishing works.
- Ensure construction work meets quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.
- Monitor material usage and report shortages or additional requirements.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain proper housekeeping at the construction site.
- Maintain site documentation, work measurements, and daily records.
- Identify and report site issues, delays, and technical concerns to the reporting manager.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of civil construction practices and site supervision.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of RCC work, reinforcement, concreting, and finishing activities.
- Experience in labour management, attendance tracking, and wage calculations.
- Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office for preparing reports and maintaining records.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple site activities.
- Willingness to travel and work at different project locations.
Eligibility
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in civil construction site supervision.
- Candidates with experience in infrastructure, industrial, or commercial construction projects will be preferred.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
