Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Front Desk Receptionist to join our blood center team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for blood donors and patients, ensuring a welcoming environment while performing essential administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Donor/Patient Check-in: Greet donors, verify identification, and register new donors in the laboratory information system (LIS).
- Scheduling: Schedule appointments for blood donations and follow-up visits via phone or in-person.
- Communication: Answer phone calls regarding blood donation hours, eligibility, and blood availability.
- Center Support: Direct donors to the screening area and assist technical staff with administrative tasks, such as printing labels.
- Payment Processing: Handle billing and administrative tasks for blood products if necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a receptionist, preferably in a hospital or blood bank setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer skills (MS Office/Excel/Hospital Management System).
- Ability to manage stressful situations with a calm demeanor
Pay: ₹9,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
