A Job Description of A Showroom Sales Executive in the automobile industry
It drives vehicle sales by engaging with customers, demonstrating car features, arranging test drives, and negotiating prices to meet monthly targets. They are responsible for managing the entire customer journey, from initial walk-in to final vehicle delivery and post-sale follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
· Customer Engagement: Welcoming walk-in customers, understanding their requirements, and recommending suitable vehicle models.
· Product Demonstration: Explaining car features, technical specifications, and benefits, including conducting test drives.
· Sales Closure: Negotiating pricing, explaining financing options, and completing sales contracts/paperwork.
· Lead Management: Following up with prospective customers, managing a CRM database, and generating referrals.
· Showroom Maintenance: Ensuring vehicles are displayed properly and keeping the showroom area clean.
· Target Achievement: Collaborating with team members to achieve or exceed monthly sales, financing, and insurance targets
Required Qualifications & Skills
· Experience: Previous experience in automobile sales is often preferred, but not mandatory.
Freshers with Arrears Also Welcome for the Field
· Communication: Good verbal communication Skills.
· Knowledge: Strong product knowledge and interest in automobiles (including EVs).
· Attitude: Proactive, professional, and customer-oriented, often working weekends/shifts
Common Requirements
· Graduation is usually preferred, but not always required.
Must often possess a valid driving license.
