The Relationship Officer – Equity -
is responsible for:
Managing client investment relationships
Executing equity trades
Providing advisory & portfolio support
Handling complete customer service operations
Goal: Increase client satisfaction, trading volume, and revenue generation.
1. Equity Trading & Dealing Responsibilities
- Execute buy/sell orders in Equity, F&O, and other market segments.
- Provide market updates, trading ideas & investment insights.
- Assist clients in trade execution through terminal / online platforms.
- Monitor market movements and inform clients about opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with exchange & regulatory norms (NSE/BSE).
2. Client Relationship Management
- Handle existing retail & HNI clients.
- Build long-term investment relationships.
- Conduct portfolio review discussions.
- Understand client risk profile & investment goals.
- Improve business generation from existing relationships.
3. Customer Service & Operations Support
- Trading & Demat account opening.
- KYC onboarding & documentation support.
- Resolve trading, login, settlement & transaction queries.
- Assist with:
- Account statements
- Contract notes
- Fund transfer issues
- Corporate action updates
- Maintain strong service standards to retain clients.
4. Revenue Generation & Business Development
- Acquire new investment clients.
- Cross-sell financial products such as:
- Mutual Funds
- PMS
- AIF / SIF
- Insurance & Wealth products
- Increase brokerage revenue & AUM.
- Meet monthly business targets.
5. Advisory & Wealth Support Role
- Suggest equity investment ideas.
- Support asset allocation planning.
- Educate clients on market trends.
- Bridge client requirement gaps with suitable products.
