The Senior Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, leading, and executing the
overall marketing strategy for Chanakya Business School and Virtual Chanakya. This role is
accountable for driving admissions growth, strengthening brand positioning, increasing
student enrolments, and ensuring marketing excellence across all online and offline
channels. The Senior Marketing Manager serves as the strategic leader of the marketing
function, overseeing digital marketing, brand management, performance marketing,
admissions campaigns, and branch-level promotional activities.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the
institution's business objectives.
Drive admissions growth, brand visibility, and market expansion across all branches
Serve as the single point of accountability for all marketing performance.
Lead annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing planning.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
Ensure marketing initiatives contribute directly to revenue growth and institutional
objectives.
2. Brand Management & Positioning
Own and strengthen the Chanakya Business School and Virtual Chanakya brands.
Maintain consistency in brand identity, messaging, communication, and visual
standards across all platforms.
Enhance brand recall, credibility, and positioning within the professional education
sector.
Manage institutional reputation and proactively address brand-related risks.
Develop integrated branding campaigns that reinforce market leadership.
3. Digital Marketing & Growth (Virtual Chanakya)
Lead the complete digital growth strategy for Virtual Chanakya.
Plan and optimize campaigns across Social Media Platforms
Build scalable lead-generation systems.
Improve conversion rates through data-driven optimization.
Track the complete marketing funnel from enquiry to admission.
Implement remarketing and customer nurturing strategies.
4. Offline Marketing & Branch Promotions
Design and execute localized marketing campaigns for every branch.
Manage Seminars, Career Guidance Programs and Admission Drives.
Manage Local Promotional Activities including Hoardings and Print Media
Coordinate institutional participation in expos, career fairs, and education events.
Ensure brand consistency across all offline initiatives.
5. Admissions & Student Recruitment
Work closely with the Admissions Team to achieve enrolment targets.
Develop campaigns for various programs, including CMA USA/EA
Improve enquiry-to-admission conversion rates.
Develop student acquisition strategies for different market segments.
Support admission teams with marketing collateral and promotional resources.
6. Team Leadership & People Management
Lead and manage the complete marketing department.
Lead Digital Marketing Team, Content Creators, Video Editors and CRM & Automation
Conduct regular reviews, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and continuous
improvement.
7. CRM & Lead Management
Oversee CRM implementation and optimization.
Ensure accurate lead tracking, segmentation, and follow-up processes.
Improve lead nurturing workflows and automation.
Coordinate closely with Admissions and Sales teams.
Analyse CRM data to improve conversion efficiency and customer engagement.
8. Analytics & Performance Reporting
Monitor KPIs across all marketing channels.
Analyse campaign performance using Google Analytics, CRM Reports, Meta
Prepare Daily campaign updates, Weekly performance reports, Monthly
management reports, Quarterly strategic reviews
Continuously optimize campaigns based on performance insights.
9. Budget Planning & ROI Management
Prepare and manage the annual marketing budget.
Allocate budgets across online and offline channels.
Ensure optimal return on investment (ROI).
Control agency, vendor, software, and advertising costs.
Evaluate marketing effectiveness through measurable financial outcomes.
10. Compliance & Data Protection
Ensure compliance with applicable advertising standards, institutional policies, and
data privacy regulations.
Promote ethical marketing practices.
Maintain confidentiality of institutional and student information.
Ensure responsible use of marketing data and technology.
11. Crisis & Reputation Management
Manage institutional reputation across digital and offline platforms.
Respond promptly to negative publicity, online reviews, and crisis situations.
Coordinate communication with management during sensitive issues.
Develop crisis communication protocols and preventive strategies.
12. Innovation & Growth Initiatives
Identify emerging trends, technologies, and marketing opportunities.
Introduce innovative initiatives including, AI-driven marketing, Webinars, Influencer
collaborations, Virtual events, Community-building programs
Evaluate and implement new growth channels to enhance admissions and brand
reach.
13. Additional Responsibilities
Perform additional duties assigned by Management.
Work Closely with Senior Management and inter departments.
Adapt marketing strategies to evolving institutional priorities.
Represent the institution in meetings, industry forums, partnerships, and networking
events as required.
