WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role partners with Nike’s Treasury, Finance, and Planning teams to deliver enterprise planning solutions. You will work alongside global engineering teams, data and SAP finance partners, and business stakeholders to design scalable analytics capabilities, while collaborating cross-functionally within a fast-paced Agile environment.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is looking for an experienced Planning Analytics engineer who brings a strong combination of technical depth and finance domain expertise. The ideal candidate has deep experience with IBMCognos TM1/Planning Analytics and understands how to translate complex Treasury and financial planning requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. This individual is a self-starter who operates effectively in Agile teams, communicates clearly with business and technical stakeholders, and demonstrates strong ownership of end-to-end delivery.
Key qualifications:
- 5+ years of development experience with IBM Cognos TM1 / Planning Analytics
(Architect, PAW)
- 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Cash Management, Corporate Finance, or Supply Chain
- 3+ years of experience with Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX), including dynamic reports
- 2+ years architecting end-to-end Planning Analytics solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related field
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will design and deliver scalable Planning Analytics solutions that support Nike’s global finance and treasury operations, enabling data-driven decision-making across the enterprise.
- Build and maintain TM1 models including cubes, dimensions, rules, and processes
- Develop reports using PAW and PAX (custom and dynamic)
- Design end-to-end Planning Analytics solutions
- Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements
- Integrate Planning Analytics with data and BI platforms
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery
- Ensure quality through testing and documentation
ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
- Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, lookups, aggregations)
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Experience with PowerShell and scripting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
NICE TO HAVE
- Familiarity with TM1py
- Experience with API integrations (REST/POST)
- Integration with BI tools
