Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Operator to join our manufacturing team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC milling machines and producing high-precision components for aerospace, defence, and engineering applications. Candidates should be comfortable working with engineering drawings, precision measuring instruments, and quality-focused manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Milling machines to manufacture precision aerospace and defence components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Perform tool offset corrections and verify machine settings before production.
- Conduct in-process inspections using verniers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure adherence to quality, productivity, and safety standards.
- Identify and report machining issues to supervisors and support corrective actions.
- Maintain workplace organization and actively participate in 5S and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow established manufacturing and quality procedures to meet customer requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- ITI, Diploma, or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience operating CNC Milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Strong knowledge of precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Understanding of aerospace and defence quality requirements.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and productivity.
