Could you be the full-time Mechanical Engineer - Interiors Integration in Hyderabad we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical integration expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and forward-thinking teammates.
You’ll lead and deliver Interior & Cab mechanical integration activities for our rolling stock projects, ensuring alignment with Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) commitments, customer requirements, and engineering standards. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across the business, including sourcing, industrialization, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless project execution and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing detailed 3D/2D installation designs, managing digital mock-ups, and ensuring interface consistency, but also contribute to risk mitigation and design optimization during production and validation phases.
We’ll look to you for:
- Leading the mechanical integration of interior and cab systems at train and subsystem levels
- Defining and managing mechanical requirements, interfaces, and allocated volumes
- Developing integration drawings, space allocation models, and conducting FEA-based justifications
- Managing Digital Mock-Up (DMU) for assigned interior zones and ensuring no-clash compliance
- Planning and piloting mechanical domain activities for assigned scope
- Supporting industrialization, manufacturing, and ramp-up activities

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong experience in Mechanical Integration, particularly in Interiors & Cab, with a preference for rail or transport industry exposure
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and PLM tools
- Experience with mechanical integration, installation design, and DMU management
- Knowledge of the design V-cycle, configuration, and change management
- Structured, hands-on, and delivery-oriented mindset
- Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Professional proficiency in English
