Job Summary
We are looking for a Utility Incharge with minimum 2 years of experience in Chemical Manufacturing / Process Industry to manage day-to-day utility operations and ensure uninterrupted supply of utilities to the plant. The role will involve monitoring, operation, troubleshooting and coordination for critical utility systems. Typical chemical-plant utilities include boilers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, RO/DM systems, pumps and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant utility systems for safe and efficient operation.
- Handle utilities such as Boiler, Air Compressor, Chiller, Cooling Tower, RO/DM Plant, Pumps, DG Sets and related systems.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, compressed air, chilled water, cooling water and other utilities to production.
- Monitor utility parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow and consumption.
- Maintain daily utility log sheets, operating records and checklists.
- Conduct routine inspection of utility equipment and identify abnormalities.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot utility-related problems and minimize plant downtime.
- Monitor utility consumption and support energy-saving and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, EHS requirements and statutory safety standards.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, EHS and other departments for smooth plant operations.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure safe working practices in the utility area.
- Support utility shutdown, start-up and emergency operations as required.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Utility Operations, preferably in the Chemical / Pharma / Petrochemical / Process Manufacturing Industry.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical Engineering preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of utility equipment and plant operations.
Mechanical Engineer - Chemical Industry

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our maintenance team in our chemical manufacturing plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of our mechanical equipment and systems. This includes performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, as well as implementing improvements and upgrades to optimize plant performance.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, lubrication, and replacement of parts
Responsible for Preventive & Breakdown Mainteannce
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, gearboxes, and piping systems
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules
- Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and optimize plant performance
- Design and implement improvements and upgrades to mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Manage and mentor junior maintenance staff
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance engineering in a chemical manufacturing or similar industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, and piping
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
