Position: Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Security Engineering team, working on the core engine of our Data Loss Prevention (DLP) product. You will take independent ownership of complex engineering problems, designing and building high-performance, production-grade components for Windows-based endpoint security software.
This role demands deep technical expertise in C/C++, strong fundamentals in data structures and algorithms, and the ability to navigate Windows internals and concurrent systems confidently — with minimal supervision.
Job Description:
- Design and develop robust, high-performance C/C++ modules for the DLP endpoint agent on Windows.
- Architect and implement multithreaded subsystems — ensuring thread safety, low latency, and correctness under concurrent workloads.
- Apply strong DSA knowledge to solve performance-critical problems: efficient data processing, memory management, and algorithmic optimization.
- Work with Windows internals to build components that interact with OS-level constructs — processes, handles, memory, I/O, and the Windows security model.
- Independently debug and resolve complex issues including crashes, memory corruption, race conditions, and performance regressions.
- Analyse crash dumps and live system failures using WinDbg to identify root causes and deliver timely fixes.
- Own features end-to-end — from design document through implementation, testing, and production deployment.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and contribute to raising the overall code quality bar within the team.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA, and security researchers to shape and deliver impactful features.
Required Skills:
- 4–8 years of professional software development experience with strong C/C++ programming skills.
- Solid multithreading expertise — thread synchronization, mutexes, condition variables, lock-free patterns, deadlock analysis, and concurrent data structures.
- Sound understanding of Windows internals — process and thread model, virtual memory, handle management, IPC mechanisms, and the Windows security architecture.
- Strong foundations in Data Structures & Algorithms — proficient in applying the right data structure or algorithm to real-world engineering problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, drive technical decisions, and deliver with minimal supervision.
- Excellent debugging skills with proven ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.
Desired Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with crash dump analysis using WinDbg — live debugging, kernel/user-mode dump triage, call stack analysis, and memory inspection.
- Familiarity with advanced WinDbg commands, extensions (SOS, MEX, SOSEX), and scripting for automated dump analysis.
- Ability to independently scope, design, and deliver complex features with little to no day-to-day guidance.
- Experience with Windows kernel-mode development — WDM, KMDF, or mini-filter drivers.
- Exposure to endpoint security products such as DLP, EDR, AV, or HIPS.
- Familiarity with performance profiling tools — Windows Performance Analyzer, VTune, or PerfView.
