Job Description:
1. Manage all inventory operations, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and dispatching goods, while maintaining accurate stock records, receipt and despatch documents.
2. Responsible for organizing the warehouse, ensuring safety compliance, replenishing stock, and conducting regular inventory audits to prevent discrepancies.
3. Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, and log incoming materials, reconciling them with purchase orders.
4. Storage & Organization: Properly label, shelve, and organize inventory according to safety guidelines (e.g., weight, temperature).
5. Stock Maintenance: Use methods like FIFO (First In, First Out) to manage stock turnover and prevent expiration.
6. Dispatching: Package and prepare items for distribution or sale.
7. Documentation: Perform regular physical stock counts (audits) and update inventory records in software or ledgers.
8. Travel as required by the job.
