We are looking for a hands-on Factory General Manager to take complete charge of our manufacturing plant in Dankuni/Kolkata. You will be responsible for daily production, team management, machinery maintenance, and local office compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Factory & Production: Lead daily manufacturing operations, meet production targets, and control product quality and wastage.
Workforce Management: Manage daily workers, supervisors, and contract labor. Ensure shop-floor discipline and worker safety.
Maintenance & Stock: Oversee machinery maintenance to prevent downtime. Manage raw materials and finished goods inventory.
Local Compliance: Handle local government bodies, pollution control boards, and local authorities.
Key Requirements
Education: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Engineering.
Experience: 5+ years in factory operations, with 3+ years as a Factory Manager or Plant Head.
Languages: Must speak Bengali, Hindi, and English.
Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and knowledge of factory machinery and local labor norms.
