1 to 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
Strong experience in Python (Pandas, SQLAlchemy, Airflow operators, etc.)
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in SQL
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes
Familiarity with orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect
Experience in managing and optimising data workflows from ingestion to transformation
Ability to build reusable data processing scripts for validation, enrichment, and formatting
Knowledge of data quality and integrity practices through validation frameworks or custom logic
Experience working with data warehouses such as PostgreSQL, Redshift, or BigQuery
Ability to develop and maintain data models and materialised views
Experience implementing automation for recurring data tasks, error logging, and alerts
Proficiency in version control using Git
Familiarity with Docker and virtual environments is a plus
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Ability to contribute to data documentation and codebase standardisation
