Role Overview
- The Sales Team Lead will drive revenue growth by leading the sales team, acquiring new clients, and managing key accounts. The role involves developing sales strategies, overseeing the sales pipeline, ensuring target achievement, and collaborating with internal teams for seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Identify new business opportunities in CSR, corporate partnerships, and sustainability projects.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline across regions.
Team Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives.
- Set individual targets, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback.
- Conduct training sessions to improve team productivity and conversion rates.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Drive end-to-end sales from lead generation to deal closure.
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients and key stakeholders.
- Ensure high client satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
Sales Operations & Coordination
- Ensure smooth handover of projects from Sales to Operations team.
- Collaborate with internal teams for proposal creation, costing, and project feasibility.
- Maintain accurate sales data, forecasts, and CRM updates.
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Track team performance, sales metrics, and conversion ratios.
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline, closures, and revenue forecasts.
- Analyze data to identify gaps and improve sales efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or key account management.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a sales team.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Experience in CSR, sustainability, or project-based sales is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and sales reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and targets under tight deadlines.
