Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable High School Chemistry Teacher to join our CBSE school in Ballari, Karnataka. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain Chemistry concepts clearly through engaging and practical teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Chemistry to High School students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare and deliver effective lesson plans.
- Explain Chemistry concepts using practical examples, activities, demonstrations, and experiments.
- Conduct laboratory sessions and ensure proper laboratory safety.
- Prepare worksheets, assignments, question papers, and study materials.
- Conduct regular tests and assessments and evaluate student performance.
- Provide remedial support to students who need additional academic assistance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Monitor and maintain records of students' academic progress.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, examinations, and school events.
- Use smart boards and digital teaching resources where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and school management to improve academic outcomes.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemistry or a relevant subject.
- B.Ed. is preferred/required.
- Strong knowledge of Chemistry and the CBSE curriculum.
- Good English communication and classroom management skills.
- Previous CBSE school experience is preferred.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and good teaching aptitude may also apply.
