Job Summary
Bachpan Play School is looking for a creative and proactive Journalist to cover company news, write engaging articles, and build strong media visibility. The ideal candidate should be skilled in news writing, interviewing, content creation, and media coordination. The role involves collecting news and success stories from Bachpan Play School's branches, corporate office, and events, and publishing them across print, digital, and social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, collect, and write news stories, articles, and feature content related to Bachpan Play School.
- Cover corporate events, school activities, launches, and achievements.
- Conduct interviews with management, principals, franchise partners, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Write press releases, news articles, blogs, and corporate communication content.
- Coordinate with newspapers, magazines, digital media platforms, and journalists for media coverage.
- Publish and promote company news across websites, social media, and other media channels.
- Ensure all content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with the brand image.
- Maintain a database of media contacts and coverage reports.
- Monitor education industry trends and identify media opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in journalism, news reporting, or media relations.
- Experience in publishing articles in newspapers, magazines, online portals, or digital media is preferred.
