Job Summary
The Outlet Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the outlet, ensuring operational excellence, superior customer service, sales growth, profitability, and compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. The role involves leading the outlet team, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, optimizing costs, and delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving business objectives.
Key Responsibilities1. Outlet Operations
- Manage day-to-day outlet operations to ensure smooth functioning.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) during opening, closing, and daily operations.
- Monitor service quality, speed, cleanliness, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure adequate staffing and operational readiness throughout business hours.
2. Sales & Business Growth
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Drive revenue growth through upselling, promotions, and local marketing initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance and implement action plans to improve business.
- Maximize Average Order Value (AOV) and customer footfall.
3. Team Management
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop outlet employees.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure optimum manpower utilization.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
4. Customer Experience
- Ensure exceptional customer service at all times.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution.
- Build customer loyalty through excellent service and relationship management.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvement initiatives.
5. Inventory & Cost Control
- Maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Conduct regular stock verification and inventory audits.
- Minimize wastage, pilferage, and stock losses.
- Monitor food cost, beverage cost, and operational expenses.
6. Financial Management
- Manage daily cash collections, deposits, and reconciliations.
- Monitor outlet profitability and operational expenses.
- Ensure compliance with financial controls and cash-handling procedures.
- Prepare daily sales reports and operational MIS.
7. Quality, Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain outlet cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
- Prepare the outlet for internal and external audits.
8. Vendor & Asset Management
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement.
- Ensure proper maintenance of equipment and outlet infrastructure.
- Report maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution.
9. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
- Maintain statutory records and operational documentation.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.
- Participate in operational reviews and business meetings.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience
- 4–8 years of experience in QSR, Restaurant, Café, Retail Food, or Hospitality operations.
- At least 2 years of experience in an Outlet Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role.
