We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Professional to establish, build, and scale our Human Resources department from the ground up. In this role, you will be solely responsible for creating and implementing robust HR management systems, policies, and frameworks tailored to our growing organization of 60 employees (including 15 senior and mid-level executives). Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will ensure all HR operations strictly adhere to current local and central statutory and legal compliance standards while fostering a strong company culture.
Key Responsibilities
- HR Infrastructure & Strategy: Build and execute the end-to-end HR management framework from scratch, including policy design, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and employee lifecycle management.
- Statutory & Legal Compliance: Ensure complete compliance with local, state, and central labor laws, statutory regulations, and institutional mandates. Regularly audit and update policies to reflect legal shifts.
- Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Work directly with the CEO and senior leadership (15 executive reports) to align HR objectives with core business strategy.
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Design recruitment strategies to source, interview, and hire high-caliber talent across departments, managing seamless onboarding and orientation experiences.
- Performance Management System (PMS): Establish structured performance appraisal frameworks, KPI/OKR tracking systems, and executive feedback mechanisms.
- Payroll & Compensation: Oversee baseline compensation structures, benefits administration, and statutory payroll deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc., as applicable).
- Employee Relations & Culture: Cultivate a transparent, ethical, and high-performance organizational culture while serving as the primary point of resolution for workplace grievances.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience(minim 3yrs) establishing HR functions from the ground up within a startup or fast-growing business context.
- Compliance Knowledge: Deep, working knowledge of current local and central statutory, labor, and employment laws.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated capability to advise C-suite executives and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
