Job Description
Active Feet Holidays is looking for a Travel Consultant / Sales & Operations Executive to join our team in Ahmedabad.
The candidate will be responsible for handling customer travel enquiries, understanding their requirements, preparing quotations, coordinating with clients and travel suppliers, and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
The role will involve sales, client coordination and day-to-day travel operations, including taxi services, holiday packages, hotel reservations, flight and train ticketing.
The candidate will also be responsible for providing timely assistance to clients, coordinating bookings and ensuring a smooth travel experience from enquiry to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries and understand their travel requirements.
- Prepare and share suitable travel quotations.
- Follow up with clients and convert enquiries into bookings.
- Handle car rental operations and bookings.
- Coordinate with hotels and suppliers for availability and rates.
- Handle domestic and international holiday packages.
- Assist with hotel reservations, flight and train ticketing.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers and travellers for confirmed bookings.
- Maintain accurate lead and booking records.
- Provide support to clients before and during their travel.
- Follow up after completion and collect client feedback.
- Coordinate payment collection and booking-related documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good time management and follow-up skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple clients and suppliers.
- Knowledge of the travel and tourism industry is preferred.
- Travel industry experience of 1 year or more is preferred.
- Freshers with good communication skills and a strong interest in travel may also apply.
