Role Description
The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Noida. The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, reconciliations, and review of accounts payable and receivable. The role includes preparation and review of financial statements, management reports, and support for audits and assurance engagements. The Senior Accountant will assist with tax computations and filings, support compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations, and contribute to financial process optimization. This position also involves mentoring junior team members, coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensuring accounting practices align with firm standards and relevant laws.
Qualifications
- Strong accounting and finance skills, including general ledger management, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
- Experience with taxation and compliance, covering direct and indirect taxes, GST, and statutory filings.
- Proficiency in audit and assurance-related work, including preparation of schedules, documentation, and support during audits.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare management reports, and support management consultancy and advisory activities.
- Comfort with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel), and the ability to adapt to new tools and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and cross-functional teams.
- Professional qualification such as CA, CMA, or equivalent, or an advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Relevant prior experience in public accounting, professional services, or a similar senior accounting role.
