Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Language Editor to review, edit, and enhance content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency. This role is open to freshers as well as experienced candidates who have a strong command of the English language.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit and proofread content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax
Ensure consistency in tone, language, and formatting
Improve readability and overall quality of content
Work on academic, technical, or publishing-related materials
Follow style guides and editorial standards
Coordinate with internal teams for content improvement
Meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
Required Qualifications:
MA in English or Mass Communication (Mandatory)
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Strong grammar and proofreading skills
Basic knowledge of MS Word
Eligibility:
Freshers can apply
Candidates with up to 3 years of experience in editing/proofreading are preferred
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of style guides (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.)
Attention to detail
Good time management skills
