- Assist in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Monitor and record vital signs, administer medication, and provide wound care as per physician orders.
- Comfort and support patients, addressing their physical and emotional needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including vital signs, medications administered, and any changes in condition.
- Document patient responses to treatments and interventions.
- Ensure proper infection control measures are followed, including hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment, and maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, senior nurses, and allied healthcare staff.
- Communicate patient information, concerns, and changes in condition effectively.
- Educate patients and their families on their medical conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
- Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures, such as CPR, as necessary.
- Maintain and ensure the availability of necessary medical equipment and supplies.
- Report any malfunctioning equipment or low supplies to senior staff.
- Stay updated with the latest nursing practices and continue professional development. Attend training sessions and workshops as required by the organization
