Stellar World School is seeking an experienced and innovative IBDP Teacher Librarian to lead our school library as a dynamic learning hub. The ideal candidate will support the academic and research needs of students and faculty, particularly within the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), by promoting information literacy, academic integrity, and a culture of reading.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop the school library as a modern, resource-rich learning environment

Collaborate with IBDP teachers to support research, Extended Essay (EE), and Internal Assessments (IA)

Teach and guide students in research skills, citation practices, and academic honesty

Curate physical and digital resources aligned with the IB curriculum

Support inquiry-based learning and interdisciplinary projects

Organize reading programs, author visits, and literacy initiatives

Train students and staff in the effective use of library databases and digital tools

Maintain cataloguing, acquisitions, and library systems
Requirements:

Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or related field

Experience in an IB World School (IBDP experience preferred)

Strong understanding of research methodologies and academic writing

Familiarity with digital library systems and databases

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
