Position Summary
The Admissions Counsellor will oversee daily operations related to prospective student guidance throughout the admissions process. This full-time, on-site role based in Rourkela involves delivering comprehensive program information, addressing inquiries, facilitating application submissions, and conducting structured consultations or interviews. The position also entails collaboration with the admissions team to formulate and execute student engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 80-100 outbound calls daily to prospective student and parent leads.
- Conduct 20-25 minute virtual or in-person counseling sessions
- Manage WhatsApp and email follow-up communications using established templates
- Assist candidates with application processes and objection resolution
- Achieve the monthly target of 8-10 successful admissions
- Contribute to team strategies for enhancing student engagement
Qualifications and Requirements
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated experience in customer service and sales (1-2 years preferred, education sector experience advantageous)
- Educational background or familiarity with academic counseling to effectively support prospective students
- Proven capacity to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain meticulous attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline (Commerce or BBA preferred)
- Proficiency in engaging diverse populations and fostering inclusive environments
- Fluency in English and Hindi/Odia
- Age 20-30 years, target-driven mindset, and familiarity with CRM systems
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary: ₹10,000 - ₹18,000 per month
