About This Role
Assist in driving client growth across three connected channels — search visibility, paid acquisition, and social/community presence — turning visibility and traffic into leads, sales, and brand trust.
This is a generalist marketing role spanning SEO, paid media (PPC), and social media management. You will support the agency's Launch Campaigns and Monthly Growth Retainers across all three disciplines, learning to connect search rankings, ad spend, and social engagement back to a single measure of success: revenue and trust for the client.
Key areas of support:
- Supporting SEO Foundation across accounts — technical, on-page, off-page, and local.
- Assisting with Site IA + on-page strategy for Web Presence builds, and keyword strategy/content briefs for the Content Engine.
- Assisting with paid media across Launch Campaigns and Monthly Growth Retainers (Google + Meta).
- Learning and enforcing the pre-spend tracking gate (no spend without verified conversion tracking).
- Assisting with social across retainers and launches, and supporting the Reputation & Review System.
What you will do:
- Running technical SEO audits (Ahrefs + Google Search Console), building keyword architecture mapped to pages by search intent, and helping prioritize fixes.
- Executing on-page optimization, structured data/schema, and local SEO (Google Business Profile, citations, local landing pages), alongside off-page/link building and light digital PR to build authority.
- Defining content briefs and SEO requirements to feed the Content Engine, and building platform strategy and content calendars — writing social copy and assembling posts.
- Assisting in building paid campaign strategy and accounts on Google and Meta — Search, Performance Max/Shopping, and remarketing/retargeting — including drafting RSAs, applying negative-keyword lists, and assisting with budget management.
- Coordinating ad creative with other team members (briefing and assembling; others produce).
- Learning to verify conversion tracking is firing before a dollar is spent, and before any campaign or landing page goes live.
- Managing community within defined response service levels, running social listening tasks, and assisting with the review-generation and response framework — including learning how to adapt it for sensitive industries.
- Assisting with weekly optimization and A/B tests across paid and organic channels, and learning to report on results in plain language tied to leads/revenue, CPL/CPA/ROAS, and social goals (reach, engagement, conversion, review velocity).
- Verifying work against established standards and participating in peer-review.
What we are looking for:
- Academic knowledge or projects demonstrating understanding of SEO principles (site structure, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, schema).
- Academic knowledge or projects showing understanding of managed-spend strategies and performance metrics (CPL/CPA/ROAS).
- Foundational Google Ads and Meta Ads knowledge (Search, Performance Max/Shopping, remarketing).
- Familiarity with Ahrefs + Search Console, and basic understanding of local SEO.
- Strong brand-voice social copywriting skills in U.S.-register English.
- A portfolio showing proficiency in building or supporting social accounts.
- A strong commitment to verifying tracking before launch, and to focusing on user intent and revenue over vanity metrics.
- A willingness to learn about sensitive/regulated-industry community handling and compliance protocols.
Bonus points: Basic knowledge of large-site SEO or off-page/digital-PR concepts, basic HTML/JS or GA4 literacy, familiarity with LinkedIn/Microsoft Ads or advanced audience strategy, basic graphic assembly from templates, or experience with sensitive industries (like healthcare).
