Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer Intern to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in React.js and a passion for building scalable, user-friendly web applications. Experience with Node.js will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js
- Build reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and project managers
- Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
- Work on API integration and frontend-backend connectivity
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 months of experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding of responsive design principles
- Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Node.js
- Knowledge of MongoDB or SQL databases
- Understanding of backend development concepts
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
