Core Responsibilities Fabric Sourcing & Development
- Coordinate with fabric suppliers and mills
- Arrange fabric samples, swatches, and developments
- Follow up on lab dips, strike-offs, and approvals
Order Follow-Up
- Track fabric orders from placement to delivery
- Ensure timelines match production schedules
- Monitor delays and take corrective actions
Approval Process
- Handle approvals like:
- Lab dips (color approval)
- Bulk fabric quality
- Print/embroidery strike-offs
Fabric Planning
- Calculate fabric consumption based on order quantity
- Ensure sufficient fabric availability for production
- Coordinate with merchandising and production teams
Quality Monitoring
- Follow up on fabric testing (GSM, shrinkage, color fastness)
- Ensure fabric meets buyer standards
Coordination with Teams
- Work with:
- Merchandising team
- Production unit
- Suppliers and mills
- Ensure smooth communication across departments
Key Skills Required
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills
- Knowledge of fabrics (woven, knit, blends, etc.)

- Diploma/Degree in Textile, Fashion, or related field
