Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Chemist to perform chemical analysis, testing, and quality control activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products meet the required quality standards while maintaining accurate laboratory records and following safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Conduct laboratory tests as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Maintain accurate records of test results and laboratory documentation.
- Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Prepare chemical reagents and standard solutions as required.
- Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities during testing.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety practices and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams for timely sample testing.
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and proper inventory of chemicals and consumables.
- Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to laboratory processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field.
- 0–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control laboratory.
- Knowledge of chemical testing methods and laboratory practices.
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments and analytical techniques.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
