CTC: Up to ₹35,000 per month (Negotiable based on current CTC, experience, and interview performance)
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor development, and material sourcing. The ideal candidate should have experience in purchasing packaging materials, raw materials, or finished goods and possess strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure packaging materials, raw materials, and other consumables as per business requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Accounts departments for procurement requirements.
- Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time deliveries and resolve supply-related issues.
- Visit vendor locations for supplier evaluation, quality checks, negotiations, or issue resolution whenever required.
- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, quotations, and purchase documentation.
- Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards and company specifications.
- Continuously explore opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Graduate in any discipline (Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, or related fields will be an advantage).
- 2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Candidates from Packaging, FMCG, Gifting, Printing, Food Processing, Manufacturing, or similar industries will be preferred.
- Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management software is preferred.
- Willingness to travel locally for vendor visits as and when required.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and follow-up skills.
