Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Manual Lathe Turner with 5+ years of hands-on experience in operating conventional/manual lathe machines. The candidate should be capable of machining precision components as per engineering drawings while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate manual/conventional lathe machines to manufacture precision components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Perform turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, knurling, and taper turning operations.
- Set up workpieces, cutting tools, and machine parameters for production.
- Measure finished components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy and quality as per customer specifications.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure proper machine cleanliness.
- Identify and resolve machining issues to minimize production downtime.
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, and production schedules.
- Coordinate with the production and quality teams to achieve daily production targets.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of manual lathe machine operations.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of machining tolerances, cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
