Key Responsibilities :
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to fit and assemble components accurately.
- Install, align, and assemble machine parts, equipment, and structures as per drawings and work orders.
- Perform routine and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery, mechanical systems, and equipment.
- Carry out fitting, fabrication, cutting, drilling, grinding, and welding tasks as required.
- Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out timely repairs to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure proper use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer, etc.).
- Conduct preventive maintenance activities as per the maintenance schedule.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, spare parts usage, and job cards.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, use of PPE, and adherence to plant safety protocols.
- Support in installation/commissioning of new machinery or equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area (5S compliance).
The company will provide the following benefits to the selected candidate:
- Total Relocation Allowance: USD 500 per month, as an estimated relocation support amount provided by the company.
- Food Allowance: USD 250 per month.
- Rent/Accommodation Allowance: USD 250 per month. The candidate's eligible rent/accommodation expenses will be covered by the company.
- Employment Type: Permanent Role.
- Job Location: Tema, Ghana, Africa.
- Air Ticket: The company will bear the cost of the candidate's air ticket for travel/joining to Ghana
