India Homes Limited, a BSE-listed real estate redevelopment company in Mumbai, is hiringa Legal Manager to lead in-house legal strategy, drafting and litigation management for co-operative housing society redevelopment projects.
This is an individual-contributor role coordinating external counsel, working alongsideexisting legal staff handling tenant coordination and cheque-bounce (Sec. 138) matters.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate redevelopment agreements, PAAAs, development agreements,MoUs, leave & license agreements and conveyance documents
- Develop and execute legal strategy across redevelopment projects, including title duediligence
- Manage litigation end-to-end (society disputes, High Court, SLPs) and coordinateexternal counsel
- Advise on co-operative housing law, RERA and DCPR 2034 compliance
Requirements
- LLB + enrolled advocate (Bar Council)
- Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience (real estate / redevelopment / co-operative housing law preferred)
- Strong legal drafting and strategy skills
- Knowledge of Redevelopment, co-operative housing law and litigation
- Tech-forward; comfortable with digital tools and AI-assisted workflows
