Job Purpose
We are looking for a Mobile Accessories Category Specialist to manage the complete mobile accessories category, including buying, pricing, inventory planning, supplier coordination, product selection, promotions, and category growth.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right price, with healthy stock levels, good margins, and strong sales performance across online and showroom channels.
Key Responsibilities
Category Buying & Product Selection
- Manage the full mobile accessories category, including chargers, cables, cases, screen protectors, power banks, earbuds, adapters, mounts, and related products.
- Identify fast-moving products and new market trends.
- Source new products from local and international suppliers.
- Compare supplier prices, quality, warranty, and availability before buying.
- Ensure the category has the right mix of budget, mid-range, and premium products.
Supplier & Purchase Management
- Coordinate with suppliers for quotations, availability, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
- Negotiate better prices, discounts, credit terms, and promotional support.
- Prepare purchase recommendations based on sales, stock, margin, and demand.
- Follow up on purchase orders, deliveries, pending items, and supplier issues.
Inventory & Stock Management
- Monitor stock levels daily to avoid out-of-stock and overstock situations.
- Review slow-moving and dead stock and suggest clearance plans.
- Maintain proper stock availability for fast-moving SKUs.
- Coordinate with warehouse and showroom teams for stock movement and availability.
- Plan replenishment based on sales trends and upcoming campaigns.
Pricing & Margin Management
- Set and review selling prices based on market price, cost, margin, and competition.
- Monitor competitor prices regularly.
- Maintain healthy category margins while keeping prices competitive.
- Suggest price changes for slow-moving, fast-moving, and promotional products.
Sales & Category Growth
- Achieve monthly sales, margin, and order targets for the mobile accessories category.
- Analyze category performance by brand, product type, SKU, sales, margin, and stock value.
- Identify growth opportunities and gaps in the category.
- Work with the marketing team to plan offers, bundles, campaigns, and promotions.
- Create product bundles with mobiles, tablets, laptops, and other related categories.
Product Listing & Content Coordination
- Coordinate with the listing team to ensure products are correctly listed online.
- Check product titles, images, descriptions, specifications, pricing, and availability.
- Ensure new products are listed quickly after purchase.
- Improve product visibility through better categorization and product content.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on sales, margin, stock, orders, slow-moving products, and supplier performance.
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly category performance.
- Share action plans to improve sales and reduce stock issues.
- Review campaign results and suggest improvements for future promotions.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of mobile accessories and electronics products.

- Ability to analyze sales, inventory, and market trends.

Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience in category management, buying, procurement, or sales of mobile accessories/electronics.
- Experience in e-commerce or retail electronics will be preferred.
- Existing supplier network in Kuwait or GCC market will be an added advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, but strong relevant experience will also be considered.
