About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to independently manage our end-to-end purchasing and procurement operations for manufacturing.
The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of purchasing materials used in manufacturing, including electrical components, electronic components, hardware items, and wooden components.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end purchasing and procurement.
- Manage vendors, negotiations, pricing, and purchase orders.
- Source and purchase electrical, electronic, hardware, and wooden components.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Follow standard purchasing processes and documentation.
- Coordinate and manage logistics and material deliveries.
- Maintain proper records of vendors, quotations, purchase orders, and deliveries.
- Identify suitable suppliers based on quality, pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing company.
- Strong experience in end-to-end procurement.
- Practical knowledge of electrical and electronic components.
- Good understanding of hardware items, including nuts, bolts, washers, fasteners, different types of screws, and related components.
- Familiarity with wooden components and materials used in manufacturing.
- Ability to understand material requirements, specifications, sizes, grades, and quality standards.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of standard purchasing processes.
- Experience in managing logistics and transportation.
- Ability to independently take ownership of the purchasing function.
- Strong coordination skills with production, engineering, accounts, vendors, and logistics teams.
Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
