Job Summary:
We are looking for a caring, creative, and passionate Pre-Primary Teacher to join our CBSE school. The ideal candidate will focus on early childhood education, laying a strong foundation for young learners through play-based and activity-oriented teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities for children aged 3–6 years
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Use storytelling, rhymes, art, music, and games to promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Create lesson plans that develop language, motor skills, social interaction, and early numeracy/literacy skills
- Monitor and document children’s progress and provide regular feedback to parents
- Encourage positive behavior and social interaction among students
- Maintain classroom hygiene, safety, and discipline
- Organize and participate in school events, celebrations, and parent-teacher interactions
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff for planning and development
- Stay updated on early childhood education practices and CBSE guidelines
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Graduation in any stream with Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) / Montessori Training
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a pre-primary setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Warm, patient, and engaging personality
- Ability to manage a classroom independently and creatively
- Knowledge of child development milestones and teaching aids
Preferred Skills:
- Artistic or musical abilities to engage children creatively
- Proficiency in storytelling, puppet play, and craft activities
- Tech-savvy and able to use basic digital teaching tools
- Empathy, energy, and enthusiasm for early learning
