Job Profile: Frappe/ERPNext Developer

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
- Customise existing ERPNext modules and build new healthcare-specific modules.
- Develop custom DocTypes, Workflows, Reports, Print Formats, Dashboards, and Scripts.
- Build REST APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Work on patient registration, appointments, EMR, pharmacy, laboratory, billing, inventory, and finance modules.
- Integrate ERPNext with external systems such as payment gateways, SMS, WhatsApp, email, and healthcare APIs.
- Participate in the design and implementation of ABDM integration, including ABHA, FHIR, and consent management.
- Optimise application performance and database queries.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Review code and mentor junior developers.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps engineers.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support when required.
Required Skills
- Strong experience with the Frappe Framework and ERPNext.
- Excellent knowledge of Python.
- Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Jinja.
- Experience with MariaDB/MySQL.
- Experience building REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of ERPNext architecture.
- Experience with Custom Apps, Custom Fields, Server Scripts, Client Scripts, and Workflow development.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Knowledge of Linux server administration and Bench.
- Understanding of role-based permissions and security.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Hospital ERP, Healthcare, or Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
- Knowledge of Healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR.
- Familiarity with ABDM, ABHA, HIP/HIU, or other healthcare integrations.
- Experience deploying ERPNext on cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker, Nginx, Redis, Supervisor, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with React, Vue.js, or Flutter is an advantage.
