Role: Business Development Executive
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify and research potential clients in the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and BIM sectors.
- Generate qualified leads through LinkedIn, email campaigns, networking, cold outreach, and industry platforms.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
Client Acquisition & Business Development
- Reach out to prospective clients and schedule meetings, presentations, and discovery calls.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with technical teams to develop suitable solutions.
- Prepare proposals, capability presentations, and business documents.
- Follow up consistently to convert prospects into long-term clients.
Market Research & Strategy
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitors, and business opportunities.
- Explore new markets and regions for business expansion.
- Maintain a database of prospects, clients, and business opportunities.
Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Ensure timely communication and professional client engagement.
- Support account management activities to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
Coordination & Reporting
- Collaborate with BIM, CAD, and project teams to understand service offerings and project capabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM tools and reports.
- Prepare weekly and monthly business development reports.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM tools, and lead generation platforms.
- Understanding of B2B sales processes.
- Ability to build relationships and manage client communications effectively.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive in business development activities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in BIM, CAD, AEC, Engineering Services, Construction, or IT Services sales will be preferred.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows, Autodesk products, and construction industry terminology is an advantage.
