Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Solar Project Manager to lead and oversee utility-scale and commercial solar projects from execution to commissioning. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge in ground-mounted solar installations, substations, and transmission line works, along with excellent project coordination and team management skills.
The candidate should be capable of handling on-site execution, vendor coordination, client communication, safety compliance, and project timelines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end execution of solar EPC projects.
- Supervise ground-mounted solar installation activities.
- Coordinate and monitor substation and transmission line works.
- Ensure project completion within timeline, budget, and quality standards.
- Handle site planning, manpower allocation, and contractor coordination.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, DISCOMs, and government authorities.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Resolve technical and operational issues during project execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in solar project execution.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Ground-mounted solar power plants
- Substations
- Transmission line works
- HT/LT electrical systems
- Must possess a valid C License.
- Ability to manage multiple project sites and teams.
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for project execution.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects.
- Knowledge of project documentation and electrical approvals.
- Familiarity with safety standards and EPC practices.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project reporting tools.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
