Location: Bengaluru
Type: Internship
Duration: 4-6 Months
Function: Commercial Growth / Product Marketing
Yaanendriya is an Indian deep-technology company building advanced sensing, navigation and control solutions for defence, robotics, unmanned systems and industrial applications. Our work spans inertial measurement units (IMUs), GNSS receivers, navigation controllers, inertial navigation systems (INS), sensor fusion and technologies for reliable operation in challenging and GNSS-denied environments.
We are building an indigenous technology platform—not merely a catalogue of products. This requires commercial teams that can combine market judgement, technical respect, disciplined execution and long-term customer stewardship.
This is not primarily a social-media internship. You will study technologies, applications, customers, programmes and competitors—and convert that learning into structured intelligence and technically credible customer communication.
You will work closely with founders, engineers and the commercial team to help Yaanendriya explain sophisticated technologies clearly, prioritise the right markets and equip customer-facing teams with better information and materials.
The standard we expect
Clear thinking, evidence and technical honesty. We value a concise, decision-ready insight more than a long collection of unverified internet material.
- Research defence, aerospace, drones, robotics, autonomous platforms, industrial automation, research and other relevant applications.
- Identify relevant OEMs, system integrators, laboratories, institutions, programmes and potential customers.
- Build structured market maps covering use cases, customer categories, decision-makers, procurement patterns, competing technologies and entry points.
- Research customer platforms and identify where Yaanendriya’s products may create measurable value.
- Maintain competitor and alternative-technology intelligence using credible, traceable sources.
- Summarise findings into concise briefs, account notes and actionable recommendations.
- Learn Yaanendriya’s products, applications, technical vocabulary and differentiators.
- Help convert technical information into product presentations, application notes, brochures, FAQs, comparison documents, website content and use-case narratives.
- Develop segment-specific messaging for technical and commercial audiences.
- Assist in creating approved case studies, customer stories and product announcements.
- Review content for clarity, consistency, evidence and technical accuracy; seek validation where required.
- Support focused campaigns for selected customer segments or priority-account groups.
- Research accounts before outreach and prepare account-specific messaging inputs.
- Assist with email campaigns, LinkedIn content, exhibitions, webinars and technical events.
- Track meaningful engagement such as responses, enquiries, technical discussions and qualified meetings.
- Help determine which applications, sectors and messages generate genuine commercial interest.
- Organise and improve product decks, proposal templates, capability documents and meeting materials.
- Prepare account and customer briefing notes before important meetings.
- Capture recurring customer questions and objections to improve FAQs and sales materials.
- Maintain an organised repository of approved product, technical and commercial content.
- Support simple dashboards for accounts, campaigns, content and market-learning priorities.
- Publishing technical claims without validation.
- Running generic social-media activity only to increase impressions or follower counts.
- Producing superficial competitor lists without analysing relevance.
- Copying generic AI-generated content without evidence, judgement or original synthesis.
- Independently negotiating prices or making customer commitments.
- Pretending to understand a technical concept instead of asking for clarification.
- Engineering students or recent graduates in electronics, electrical, instrumentation, mechatronics, aerospace, mechanical engineering, robotics or related fields.
- MBA or management students with a demonstrated interest in deep technology and the ability to learn technical concepts.
- Candidates from science, economics, communications or design may also apply if they demonstrate strong research ability, structured thinking and technical curiosity.
- Excellent research, synthesis and written communication.
- Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them accurately in plain language.
- Strong presentation and document-development ability.
- Attention to detail, respect for evidence and ability to distinguish credible sources from promotional material.
- Comfort with spreadsheets, presentations and structured documentation.
- High ownership, receptiveness to technical feedback and genuine interest in defence, robotics, navigation, electronics or unmanned systems.
- Accuracy, depth and usability of market and account intelligence.
- Quality and technical credibility of product communication.
- Improvement in commercial collateral and knowledge organisation.
- Identification of relevant accounts, applications and decision pathways.
- Quality of account-based campaign preparation and meaningful engagement generated.
- Timeliness, organisation, originality and ability to incorporate engineering feedback.
What you will learn
How complex engineering products are positioned; how technical features become customer value; how sophisticated customers evaluate components and systems; and how market intelligence, product, engineering and sales work together.
- Work on foundational Indian deep-tech products rather than generic consumer marketing.
- Learn directly from engineers, founders and customer conversations.
- Develop a portfolio of research, positioning and technical communication work.
- Understand account-based B2B marketing in defence, robotics and industrial markets.
- Contribute to building repeatable commercial intelligence and product-marketing systems.
