Technician (Propulsion):
Primary roles and responsibilities:
Prepare test plan and procedure.
Verify rig readiness
Configure ESC, Pixhawk, telemetry.
Execute test runs and monitor parameters.
Capture observations and save test data.
Safety:
Perform safety checks.
Monitor safe zones.
Data Acquisition:
Configure data logging systems.
Calibrate sensors.
Ensure data quality.
Generate graphs, logs, and analysis data.
Mechanical and Electrical Setup:
Set up motor, propeller, mounts as per design guidelines such as torque.
Inspect for vibration and loosened parts.
Assist in assembly/disassembly.
Connect wiring, ESC, SMPS/battery.
Check grounding and protection.
Troubleshoot electrical and telemetry issues.
Documentation:
Maintain test reports & checklists.
Update SOPs & certifications.
Compile final test summary.
