Loan2Grow Fincap is a growing lending/financing company focused on providing responsible and accessible credit to underserved customer segments. As the business scales its lending operations, we are looking for a hands-on Credit & Operations professional who can support credit underwriting while also ensuring smooth execution of the loan lifecycle.
Role Overview
The Credit & Operations Executive will be responsible for credit assessment, underwriting support, loan documentation and post-sanction operations.
The ideal candidate should have experience working in an NBFC, bank, fintech lender or other lending institution, with a good understanding of retail/MSME lending processes. The person should be comfortable working across both credit and operational activities, maintaining accuracy and discipline while managing a growing loan portfolio.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced lending environment and wants exposure to the complete credit lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities1. Credit Underwriting
- Review and assess loan applications in accordance with the company's credit policy and underwriting guidelines.
- Analyse customer profiles, income/cash flows, bank statements, credit bureau reports and other relevant financial information.
- Assess customer repayment capacity, credit history, indebtedness and overall risk profile.
- Identify red flags, inconsistencies, potential fraud indicators and other credit risks.
- Conduct appropriate verification and validation of customer information and supporting documents.
- Prepare credit appraisal notes/recommendations for approval.
- Ensure that credit decisions are well documented and supported by appropriate analysis.
- Coordinate with sales/business teams to obtain missing information and resolve credit queries.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, approval authorities and internal controls.
2. Loan Documentation & Disbursement Operations
- Manage the documentation process for sanctioned loans.
- Verify KYC and other customer/loan documents before disbursement.
- Ensure execution and completeness of loan agreements and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams for completion of documentation and disbursement conditions.
- Ensure that loan files are complete, accurate and properly maintained.
- Coordinate with relevant teams/vendors for e-signing, e-NACH/e-mandate setup and other digital loan processes.
- Track pending documentation and ensure timely closure of operational exceptions.
3. Repayment & Mandate Management
- Manage and monitor e-NACH/e-mandate registration and activation for customers.
- Track mandate failures, re-presentations and other payment-related exceptions.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve mandate/payment issues.
- Maintain accurate loan and repayment records.
4. Credit Bureau & Portfolio Operations
- Support periodic credit bureau reporting and ensure accurate submission of loan and repayment data.
- Review bureau reporting files/data for completeness and accuracy.
- Coordinate corrections for bureau reporting discrepancies and customer complaints.
- Support reconciliation of loan accounts, repayments and outstanding balances.
- Maintain operational MIS relating to disbursements, repayments, mandates, bureau reporting and other portfolio activities.
5. Loan Portfolio Administration
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date loan records across relevant systems.
- Monitor the status of loans from sanction through documentation, disbursement and repayment.
- Track operational exceptions and ensure timely resolution.
- Coordinate with collections, finance, technology and business teams wherever required.
- Support internal audits, portfolio reviews and management reporting.
- Help improve lending processes, controls and operational workflows as the business scales.
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in credit underwriting and/or credit operations.
- Prior experience with an NBFC, bank, fintech lender, HFC or other lending institution.
- Hands-on experience in credit appraisal/underwriting.
- Good understanding of credit bureau reports and customer credit assessment.
- Experience with loan documentation and disbursement processes.
- Working knowledge of e-NACH/e-mandates, KYC/document verification and credit bureau reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and credit risks.
- Good Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of operational tasks.
Preferred:
- Experience in a small or mid-sized NBFC/fintech where the individual has handled multiple parts of the lending lifecycle.
- Experience with digital lending/LMS/LOS platforms.
- Experience handling bureau corrections, mandate failures and operational reconciliations.
- Exposure to retail, MSME, asset finance or other secured/unsecured lending products.
- Experience working in a fast-growing lending business.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable owning tasks end-to-end.
The ideal candidate is not someone who only reviews credit files. They should be willing and able to work across the lending process—from application assessment and underwriting to documentation, disbursement, mandates, bureau reporting and portfolio operations.
Candidates who have worked in an NBFC/fintech lending environment and have had exposure to both credit and operations will be particularly suitable.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
