Overview:
You build core business logic — payroll calculations, compliance rules, third-party API integrations, background jobs, and data pipelines. You work under the Senior Lead but own your modules end to end.
What You Will Build:
Payroll calculation engine, W2/1099 compliance AI module, Paychex Flex bidirectional sync, Toast POS sales data ingestion, QuickBooks Online daily journal entries, Twilio SMS/WhatsApp conversation state, compliance monitoring agent (weekly AI scan of government sources), background cron jobs.
Must Have:
3+ years Node.js or TypeScript backend, NestJS services and dependency injection, PostgreSQL complex queries and aggregations, Prisma ORM, REST API consumption, async programming with queues and crons, proper error handling with retries and logging.
Advantage:
Payroll or financial software experience, Twilio API, any accounting API, Claude/OpenAI API integration, Redis Bull queues, restaurant industry knowledge.
Pay: ₹338,724.32 - ₹450,000.00 per year
