Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to teach Indian Vocal Music and Harmonium to students of different age groups in Kolkata.
The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Indian classical or semi-classical music, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to inspire students to develop their musical talents.
Responsibilities
- Teach Indian Vocal Music (Classical, Semi-Classical, Bhajans, Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, or Light Music as applicable).
- Teach Harmonium to beginners and intermediate learners.
- Plan and conduct engaging music lessons.
- Prepare students for performances, competitions, and examinations (if applicable).
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain attendance and lesson records.
- Organize practice sessions and musical events when required.
Requirements
- Certification or degree in Music from a recognized institution is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Indian Vocal Music and Harmonium.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Ability to teach students of different age groups.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Geeti, Bhajans, or Light Music.
- Experience conducting group and individual classes.
- Ability to accompany vocal performances on the harmonium.
Pay: ₹11,373.84 - ₹37,084.22 per month
