We are looking for a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager to lead the development of a next-generation internal software platform from the ground up.
This is not a maintenance or people-management-only role. We need someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, writing production-quality code when required, mentoring engineers, and driving architecture and engineering excellence.
You'll work directly with executive leadership to build scalable products, improve engineering practices, and shape the long-term technical direction of the company.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Full Stack Engineers.
- Drive architecture and technical decisions across a MERN-based platform.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Write production-quality code when required.
- Review pull requests and maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Leadership to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
- Improve engineering processes, sprint planning, documentation, and development workflows.
- Remove technical blockers and ensure timely delivery.
- Hire, coach, and develop engineering talent.
- Take complete ownership of technical outcomes.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of Full Stack Software Engineering experience.
- 2+ years of engineering team leadership.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- MongoDB
- Express.js
- React.js
- Node.js
- REST API development.
- System Design & Software Architecture.
- AWS Cloud.
- Git & CI/CD.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Agile development experience.
