Job Description
Position: Junior Design Engineer
Experience Required: 1–2 Years
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, sheet metal, and weldments using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing with correct dimensioning, GD&T, tolerances, and BOMs.
- Understand client inputs and email instructions very well.
- Ensure designs follow industry standards (ISO, ASME, ANSI).
- Review client requirements and convert them into accurate 3D/2D outputs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks.
Added Advantage:
- Working knowledge or understanding of woodworking / millwork fabrication drawings.
- Understanding of welding symbols, structural fabrication, and machining operations.
- Direct shopfloor or hands-on manufacturing experience (machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding inspection).
