roles and responsibilities for a Senior Counselor
- Profile Evaluation & Career Counseling: Conducting detailed assessments to evaluate academic backgrounds, financial capabilities, and career goals to recommend the best country, university, and course fits.
- Application & Document Management: Overseeing the entire application lifecycle, including reviewing Statements of Purpose (SOPs), Letters of Recommendation (LORs), transcripts, and managing application portals.
- Visa Guidance & Compliance: Mentoring students through complex visa procedures, mock interviews, financial proof documentation, and pre-departure briefings.
- University & Partner Relations: Liaising with international university admission officers and regional delegates to stay updated on curriculum changes, scholarships, and admission criteria.
- Mentorship & Escalation Handling: Assisting junior counselors with tough leads, handling student or parent escalations, and guiding team members on sales conversions and CRM usage.
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Driving proactive student recruitment through follow-ups, counseling walk-ins, and participating in education fairs and webinars.
