Role & responsibilities
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling electric scooters according to the company's production schedule and quality standards. The role involves fitting mechanical and electrical components, performing basic functional checks, identifying assembly defects, and ensuring every scooter is ready for quality inspection.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electric scooters as per approved assembly procedures and work instructions.
- Install and secure all mechanical, electrical, and cosmetic components accurately.
- Follow daily production targets assigned by the Assembly Supervisor.
- Ensure correct usage of tools, torque specifications, and assembly fixtures.
- Conduct basic functional checks before forwarding the vehicle to the Quality Control department.
- Report defective or damaged components immediately to the supervisor.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned workstation following 5S principles.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear prescribed PPE during work.
- Record production details and maintain assembly records as required.
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
- Support inventory reconciliation by reporting unused or defective materials.Work closely with the Quality Control and Stores departments to resolve assembly-related issues.
- Participate in training programs and continuously improve technical skills.
Pay: ₹175,000.00 - ₹375,000.00 per year
