Job Title: QA/QC Engineer

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ●
A. Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC)
● Conduct stage-wise inspections — pre-execution, in-progress, and post-completion — for all interior and civil scope items.
● Verify site execution against approved drawings, shop drawings, and material specifications at every milestone.
● Identify quality deviations, workmanship defects, and non-conformances; raise RFIs (Request for Information) and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) promptly.
● Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure timely rectification of snags and defects.
● Monitor material deliveries for compliance with approved samples — dimensions, finish, brand, and grade.
● Maintain a site snag/punch list and track closure status with photographic evidence.
● Enforce safety and quality standards during execution of finishing works — carpentry, flooring, painting, polishing, false ceiling, plumbing, and MEP interfaces.
B. Documentation (DOC)
● Maintain the Master Document Register (MDR) — tracking all drawings, specifications, submittals, and approvals.
● Implement and enforce document version control; ensure only latest-revision drawings are circulated on site.
● Prepare, maintain, and update inspection checklists, quality control plans (QCP), and method statements.
● Compile and file inspection reports, material test reports, approvals, and daily/weekly QA/QC reports.
● Ensure all documentation is organized for both hard-copy (binder/site office) and soft-copy (shared drive/cloud) filing systems, audit-ready at all times.
● Manage material submittals and maintain a submittal register in coordination with procurement and consultants.
C. Reporting & Coordination
● Prepare daily QA/QC inspection reports and weekly quality summary dashboards for management review.
● Coordinate with consultants, PMC, clients, and internal teams for inspection approvals and sign-offs.
● Actively participate in site quality meetings; prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting) and distribute to stakeholders.
● Escalate unresolved quality issues to HOD within defined timelines.
● D. Interior Quality Focus
● Perform detailed checks on finishing work: carpentry tolerances, paint sheen levels, flooring alignments, polishing grades, hardware alignment, and sealant application.
● Verify measurements, levelness, plumbness, and alignments before and after execution using instruments (spirit level, measuring tape, laser level).
● Compare installed finishes against approved sample board and material specifications before client handover.

Technical Competencies
● Reading and interpreting architectural, interior, and structural drawings
● Understanding of interior fit-out processes: carpentry, flooring, painting, false ceiling, façade, MEP interface
● Familiarity with quality inspection processes, IS codes, and standard checklists
● Knowledge of document control systems and version management
● Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and basic digital filing tools ● Working knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred but not mandatory)
