Job Description - Platform Engineer (Azure)
Experience: 2–4 Years
Role Summary: We are looking for a Platform Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure to support cloud infrastructure, platform operations, security, monitoring, and day-to-day administration. The ideal candidate should have experience managing Azure resources, virtual machines, networking, storage, backups, databases, and troubleshooting production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support Azure infrastructure and platform services.
- Administer Azure VMs, networking, storage, and backup solutions.
- Monitor infrastructure health and troubleshoot production issues.
- Perform patching, backup validation, and disaster recovery activities.
- Support Azure SQL/SQL Server and Linux/Windows servers.
- Maintain operational documentation and collaborate with application teams.
Required Skills
- Azure: Virtual Machines, VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, Storage, Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vault, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Entra ID, Azure SQL.
- Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Storage & Backup: Managed Disks, Blob Storage, Backup & Restore, DR concepts.
- Database: Azure SQL, SQL Server, MySQL/PostgreSQL (basic administration).
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, Firewall fundamentals.
- Others (Preferred): OCI, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, PowerShell/Bash, ServiceNow.
Preferred Certification: AZ-104 (AZ-500 is an advantage).
Pay: ₹390,497.17 - ₹799,120.41 per year
