Receiving & Inventory Team Leader – Job Description
( SPAR Hypermarket India – Brookefields Mall, Coimbatore)
Location: Brookefields Mall, Coimbatore
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage receiving and inventory operations to ensure smooth stock flow.
- Supervise inward goods receiving, unloading, verification, and GRN (Goods Receipt Note) processes.
- Ensure accurate stock counting, inventory tracking, and stock reconciliation.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with store departments for timely replenishment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies, damages, and shrinkage.
- Ensure proper storage, FIFO/FEFO practices, and warehouse organization standards.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for smooth receiving operations.
- Prepare inventory reports, stock movement tracking, and documentation.
- Lead, train, and guide receiving & inventory team members for operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines, audit standards, and inventory controls.
